O Ye! Powerless Graves
O Ye! Powerless Graves
Know ye! That no one can mechanize death to life
And grave
yard the fiercest fear we harbour, living
For, it is the inevitable, end of all ends for the living
And the greatest season of strife.
But all passages of wisdom, you will see trails and
footsteps
Of Plato
and like, they are always here to lead
While we crave on their heels, theirs to read
Whence, I propound my own steps.
I see Wordsworth reprinted colourfully,
Still
sitting in the library lively
Discussing with a Professor whose knowledge exists in mass,
Talk more
of Shakespeare who always makes it to the class.
O ye! Powerless graves, not of rotten and skeletal men,
But O ye!
Powerless graves, when it comes to noble men.
